Version 2.2.10 brings smarter screen capture and much better annotation tools.

• When selecting a region to screenshot or record, you can now drag across any connected display, not just the one your cursor happened to be on.
• Callout arrows now point accurately at their target from any side, including left and right, instead of bending awkwardly around the bubble.
• New callouts placed by dragging now appear on the side you dragged toward, and sideways or straight-down drags now produce a proper bubble instead of vanishing.
• Moving a callout keeps its arrow aimed at the same spot, so repositioning it no longer requires re-aiming afterward.
• Text annotations now show a clean underline instead of a boxed outline, and pressing Enter starts a new line while typing.
• Typed annotation text is no longer lost when you click elsewhere, switch tools, or hit Save.

This update fixes two issues in dictation and shape editing.

• Dictation no longer drops words after you pause while speaking — your text now continues appending correctly instead of overwriting what you already said.
• Selected arrows and lines no longer show an unwanted bounding box outline.

This update gives you more control over your recordings.

• Choose which camera appears in your recording bubble and which microphone captures your audio, from Settings > Recording or right from the toolbar while recording.
• Switch cameras or microphones mid-recording without having to stop and start over.
• If your camera or microphone gets unplugged during a recording, it automatically falls back to your built-in camera or default microphone, then switches back once you reconnect your original device.

Version 2.2.6 brings a smoother annotation and documentation experience, plus a new way to share Foxlogik with friends.

• Annotating screenshots feels more natural: new text boxes start small and grow as you type instead of stretching across the page, callout arrows point and center more naturally, and editing text now saves automatically without needing to press a separate "Done" button.
• Undo and redo (⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z) now apply only to your annotations, so they no longer accidentally undo other edits you're making, like a step title.
• Added a "Refer a Friend" link in the About section of Settings.

Version 2.2.10 brings smoother guide syncing, a dictation fix, and several improvements to text and callout annotations.

• Fixed an issue where some guides could get stuck and repeatedly fail to sync; syncing now recovers automatically and shows a clear message if something still goes wrong.
• Fixed dictation occasionally dropping words during brief pauses.
• Text and callout annotations now show a light underline instead of a full box while you're typing, and pressing Enter starts a new line instead of closing the editor.
• Callouts keep their arrow pointed at the right spot when you move the label, and new callouts placed by dragging sideways now appear beside their target instead of only above or below it.
• Callout arrows now leave the bubble from whichever side faces the target, for a cleaner-looking pointer.
• Selecting an arrow or line now shows simple, draggable end points instead of a boxed outline.

Performance and reliability improvements under the hood.

This release improves the tray icon and makes voice dictation more accurate and reliable.

• The tray icon now displays in full color, so it stays visible no matter your taskbar's theme or background.
• Fixed a bug where dictated text could come out garbled or repeated instead of updating cleanly as you spoke.
• Voice dictation now uses a more accurate speech engine for better recognition quality, with an older engine used automatically as a backup when needed.
• If higher-quality dictation requires turning on "Online speech recognition," the app now asks you to enable it and gives you a direct link to the right Windows privacy setting.

You can now choose exactly which camera and microphone your recordings use.

• Placing a callout centers it neatly above (or below, when there's no room) the spot you clicked, with a straight connecting line instead of an angled one.
• Text boxes in annotations resize automatically as you type, rather than staying a fixed size.
• Editing annotation text is simpler — click away or press Esc to save, no separate Done button needed.
• Added a "Refer a Friend" option in Settings so you can easily share Foxlogik with others.

• You can now watch Fennek's progress update live, right in the chat, as it works on your requests.

Foxlogik Desktop for Windows 2.2.4 brings the SOP editor up to par with the Mac experience.

• The SOP editor on Windows now matches the Mac app, with the same tools and capabilities.

This update makes the AI chat easier to use for longer conversations and cleans up how past chats are labeled.

• Answer a whole set of chat questions at once: click the expand button above the message box to open every question in one full-screen form, see a running count of how many you've answered, and submit them all together. Your answers carry over whether you switch back to the single-question view or not, and voice input works the same way in both.
• Typing a long answer no longer scrolls sideways out of view — the answer box now wraps and grows as you type, up to six lines, then scrolls normally.
• Your list of previous chats now shows the actual name of the item each chat was about, instead of an internal code, and searching the list matches that name too.

This update makes it faster to review reports and easier to manage your conversations.

• Tapping a reply about a newly created Daily Report now takes you straight to that report.
• You can now speak your answers to questions instead of typing them, using the same microphone button available elsewhere in the chat.
• Selecting an answer option automatically moves you to the next question, so you can move through questions faster.
• You can now rename your saved chats right from the history list — just click the pencil icon or double-click a chat name. The current chat's name is also shown at the top for easy reference.

Foxlogik Chrome Extension 1.0.18 improves how you answer Fennek's questions and makes voice dictation more reliable.

• Fennek's questions now appear in a dedicated panel docked above the message box, one question at a time, so you always know what to answer next.
• Move freely between questions with Previous/Next, tick or type your answer, and confirm with Submit when you're ready — nothing sends until you say so.
• A "Something else" option is always available if you'd rather type your own answer instead of picking from the list.
• Fixed dictation dropping words after a pause, and stopped a fast repeat Enter from sending the same message twice.

This update makes voice dictation more reliable on Windows and fixes an issue where updates could appear to fail.

• Fixed an issue where the extension could restart before an update had actually finished downloading, which made it look like the update failed. It now waits until the new version is truly ready, and shows a "preparing update" status instead of an error if that takes a few minutes.
• Fixed garbled or run-together text when using voice dictation on Windows, and switched to a more accurate speech recognition engine.
• If dictation needs the Windows "Online speech recognition" privacy setting turned on, you'll now be prompted to enable it, with a direct link to the right settings page.
