This Privacy Policy explains how Foxlogik Capture handles information. It applies to the Foxlogik Capture desktop applications (macOS and Windows) and the Foxlogik Capture browser extension (collectively, "Foxlogik Capture"). It is separate from the Foxlogik platform Privacy Policy, which governs the Foxlogik website and SaaS services.

Who we are?

Foxlogik Capture is provided by FOXDATA CORP ("Foxlogik", "we", "us", "our"). Foxlogik Capture is a workplace productivity tool intended to be deployed by an organization for its own users. Where an organization deploys Foxlogik Capture, that organization is the controller of the data collected about its users, and this policy describes the processing we perform on its behalf.

What Foxlogik Capture does?

Foxlogik Capture measures how working time is spent and attributes it to tasks and projects in your organization's Foxlogik (Odoo) workspace, so timesheets and productivity reporting can be completed automatically. The browser extension works together with the desktop application, which handles all communication with your workspace.

Information we process

- Activity data — the active application or browser tab (including its URL and title) and the time spent, used to attribute working time to a task or project.

- Screenshots — periodic screenshots of your screen (desktop app) or the active browser tab (extension), captured as time-tracking evidence. The capture interval is configured by your organization's administrator.

- Idle state — whether you are active or idle, so away-from-keyboard time can be excluded from tracked time.

- Optional microphone and webcam — audio and video are captured only when you explicitly enable those features for a recording.

- Account and workspace identifiers — the workspace and user account your activity is associated with.

Foxlogik Capture does not collect your credentials. The browser extension never stores login credentials; all workspace access is brokered by the paired desktop application.

How we use information and where it goes?

- Activity data and screenshots are sent to your organization's own Foxlogik (Odoo) workspace — self-hosted by your organization or hosted by Foxlogik on its behalf — for time tracking, timesheets, and productivity reporting.

- We do not sell your personal information.

- We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

- We do not share it with third parties except infrastructure providers that host the service on your organization's behalf, and where required by law.

Browser extension permissions

The Foxlogik Capture browser extension requests only the permissions needed for time tracking:

- Reading the active tab (URL and title) — to attribute working time to the correct task.

- Capturing the visible tab — to take periodic time-tracking screenshots while tracking is active.

- Idle detection — to exclude away-from-keyboard time.

- Local storage — to hold tracking state, preferences, and an offline queue on your device until it can sync.

- Notifications — to show tracking-related status messages.

- Native messaging — to communicate with the paired Foxlogik Capture desktop application, which brokers all workspace access.

The extension loads no remote code, and all workspace communication is handled through the desktop application rather than directly by the extension.

Data retention

Activity data and screenshots are retained in your organization's workspace according to that organization's configuration and retention policies. Data queued locally while offline is stored on your device only until it is synced, then removed.

Your choices

Because Foxlogik Capture is deployed by your organization, requests to access, correct, export, or delete your data should be directed to your organization's administrator, who controls the workspace and its retention settings. You control the optional microphone and webcam features, and you can manage operating-system permissions (screen recording, accessibility, microphone, camera) at any time in your system settings.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
