About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Owner / Odoo Functional Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the development and enhancement of our SaaS products. You will be responsible for translating business needs into functional specifications and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality Odoo-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership:
    • Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
    • Gather and prioritize user requirements through user research, feedback analysis, and market analysis
    • Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
    • Collaborate closely with the development team throughout the entire product development lifecycle
    • Conduct product demonstrations and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Odoo Functional Development:
    • Design, configure, and customize Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements
    • Develop and implement new features and functionalities within the Odoo framework
    • Write clear and concise technical documentation
    • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues reported by users
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo releases and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo functional development, including module configuration, customization, and workflow design
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting user requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Odoo technical development (Python)
  • Knowledge of specific Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing)
  • Experience working with Odoo Community edition
  • Contributions to the Odoo community (e.g., modules, documentation, forum participation)
